Pitch, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. Youth can compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.
Boys and girls are divided into 4 age divisions 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through 4 levels of competition, including the National Finals during the MLB All-Star Week.
The individual Pitch, Hit & Run Champions, along with the All- Around Champion in each age group at the local level, will advance to Sectionals.
The Surprise Pitch, Hit & Run Competition is April 21 at the Kansas City Royals Major League Practice Fields, 15850 N Bullard Ave. Check-in begins at 12 pm. The competition begins at 1 pm.
All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and have a parent or guardian fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition. The child’s age as of July 17, 2018 will determine his/her age in this year’s competitio
