The academy invites Surprise residents to attend a four-session course that will provide an exciting and challenging introduction to the basics of business formation for aspiring entrepreneurs. Please note that the class is experiential. This means that the students will be divided into groups and that each group will develop both a business concept and a business plan during the first three weeks of the course. Each group will then present its business to the class for review and scoring during the last session.
The class will be limited to twenty-four (24) people and successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance into the class.
The Academy will consist of four classes given once a week for four weeks. The classes will be held at the AZ TechCelerator, 12425 W. Bell Road, Surprise, AZ 85374, from 6-9:00 p.m. each session.
