Home Buyer Assistance Program
The City of Surprise currently has funding available for homebuyers interested in participating in the Homebuyer’s Assistance Program.
This program is funded by the Neighborhood Stabilization Program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Emergency Housing Rehabilitation Program
The City of Surprise has received Community Development Block Grant funding to provide Emergency Housing Rehabilitation assistance to qualified homeowners.
The city is currently accepting applications from residents for this program. Eligible repairs include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling and accessibility items.
Projects are selected on a first come first-serve basis with special considerations given to those projects that address health and safety issues.

Major Rehabilitation Program
